The Xensei Corporation
www.xensei.com

This is the corporate site of the Xensei Corporation.

Technology: Although this is primarily a static site, many of the systems in use at the Xensei Corporation were developed by Jeff and are tightly integrated with the Xensei web site. These include comprehensive customer billing and CRM systems, as well as a technical support incident tracking database. These systems were designed using a combination of web based technologies, as well as MS Access, and MS Visual Basic. All of these systems utilize MySQL as an underlying database layer. The web based systems utilize Perl DBD/DBI to interface to the underlying database, while the MS Access and Visual Basic systems utilize ODBC.

Although the current owners of Xensei have discontinued some of these features, during the time that Jeff managed the company customers could directly access their billing information through the billing section of the web site, seeing in real-time the status of their accounts, make online payments that would instantly be reflected in Xensei's billing system, and so forth.

Customers with open support tickets could also directly access the Xensei CRM system through the support section of the web site, allowing them to view the support technicians' progress as they researched and solved problems for the customer. Xensei's Support technicians and sales consultants were provided with direct access to these systems from their desktops, allowing all telephone, email, and web site contact with customers to be organized in one centrally located, fully searchable location, accessible in real-time to both Xensei's staff and customers.
